Dear friends and well wishers, We're happy to inform you that following the Global Africa Diaspora Convention 2015 that was organised by the Economic and Social Council of the African Union (ECOSOCC) in Washington DC and Baltimore (USA) last November 19-22, 2015 ECOSOCC has invited me, Dr. Emmanuel Anyangwe Ngassa, Founder of Ask Docta! to head theAfrica Diaspora Physician Network that is going to be setup. A follow up convention has been scheduled from May 5th to 8th 2016
in Washington DC again with the purpose to execute plans for such a network of physicians and also similar networks of skilled professionals. In the meantime together with ECOSOCC I shall start to do the ground work necessary to put together a functional leadership for the said Africa Diaspora Physician Network, whose primarily function will be to give skilled medical professional advice to the African Union. All medical professionals of the African diaspora are invited to join us to build up this network. We believe that Africa's problems can and should be solved by Africans. The African Union has adopted this strategy and is working to make it a reality. It's left on us the skilled the professionals to take up the challenge and execute our own part diligently. We don't have anytime to waste complaining. Now is the time to get to work and bring the change that we all are craving for in Africa. http://pages.au.int/ecosocc/ events/global-african- stakeholders-diaspora- convention-washington-dchttp://esurv.org/online- survey.php?surveyID=LLODLL_ c319be39 Thank you.
