Reported by the Chief of Staff, Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs Ms. Yohannes Abraham , was the importance of strengthening U.S.- Africa Relation and Partnership in developing human capacity whereby individuals, organizations, public and private sectors are equipped with tools to develop and achieve social and economic goals in order to sustain development. One significant issue on policy briefing was the issue of Public Safety. Public Safety was reported to be one of the top priorities in Obama's administration." P resident Obama believes, it is a job of the Government to protect its citizens"
